APF Trans Brokers were hired by Banner Chemical to pickup a load from Middleton, TN to Orange, NJ.

On 04/13/07 we had a carrier ready to pickup load but we found out shipper in NJ hired someone else to pickup the load without telling us.  I was ok with that until I found out he was unwilling to pay me for a truck order not used since he claims he never told me to pickup his load.
I have the paperwork showing me to pickup the load along with him personally saying over the phone to go ahead and move the load via rail.
Now he does not want to pay. I think any company that has such practices should be reported.
