Dr. Hien Nguyen of Beachside Dental recommended a 10-tooth bridge and two extractions. The oral surgeon recommended 2 bone grafts. Three days after surgery Dr. Nguyen drilled down 4 teeth and took impressions. When dental assistant was removing the impression a stitch stuck to it and pulled. Dental assistant cut the stitch out. Consequently the bone graft did not take and now there is a permanent hole in the front of my mouth.
I have had a temporary bridge for 2 months that looks awful and does not function well and I have pain. During my last appointment I saw a prosthodontist who stated the bridge would never work, then walked out of the room and never came back. I got a second opinion in a different dental office and confirmed that the bridge would never work and I need implants.
The itemized bill from Beachside Dental lists 10 crowns @ $700. each = $7,000.00. Since the bridge was never made I am requesting a refund so that I can go elsewhere to fix the damage Beachside did. They refuse to refund my money and state that the job is 85% complete, even though no bridge was ever made. I call that stealing.
The staff in this office are uncaring. I have had to wait excessive time to be seen for every appointment even though I arrive on time. They don't even let you know there will be a wait. For my oral surgery appointment I had to wait over an hour to be called. |
