Well, to start with Brenda Cox owns a cable contracting business in TN she allowed my boyfriend to work for her out of state for 8 months. She began paying all of the employees the second week they were there with no problem, after the second week Hope Communications (Brenda Cox) began withholding checks from the employees.after attempting to place several unanswered calls and several weeks later brenda states that comcast (main contractor) didn't send the money they owed her.

After calling comcast and finding out the date and time she picked up her check, attempted to call again. She again did not answer or return any of the many messages left for her. Several of the employees left the job (the ones who didn't send all of their first check home) being owed several thousand dollars.my boyfriend, didn't have a way home so chosing to stay and give brenda and hope comm. Time to get things straightened out. Has now come home being owed $12,000. After 3 months she has one of her employees call to see if he could come back to work for hope comm. After they talk about all the money she owes him and states that he will get his money in a few weeks, thinking this is the only way we will get any of what is owed he goes back to work for her. Now in south fla. He worked a little over 4 weeks. Being paid for the first 2 weeks of work , but having to wait for 3 days to cash his check (no funds). He did get that one cashed. After returning home in march she called for us to come pick up his checks( 2) $400 checks. After picking them up we take them to our landlord to pay the rent. And much to our suprise our landlord shows up at our home to say the checks had bounced!!!!! Now bringing the total amount brenda cox owes is $12,800 plus the no funds fee of $50.00 each. If you are in need of a job please do not call these people they will let you work as much as you want minus the paychecks!!
