Chase Credit Card Co. is EVIL

Time and time again.....requesting a paper bill be sent to us so we can see what is going on with an account we paid off in full and asked to be closed last year....and never receiving anything in paper except letters of what we now owe in their added on penalty fees. Trying to take care of this over the phone results in such frustration for me that I have become ill. Today was the worst yet. We paid them off last September ...AGAIN......8 days before a payment was due ...sending the exact amount quoted to us over the phone as a final payoff balance.......and they are still jerking us around saying there is nothing they can do for us....we simply must pay their fees added to what was suppose to be a closed account. It is horrible, upsetting and criminal what they do to long time excellent customers with excellent credit ratings. It has been a nightmare and I wish we could do something to make them pay for their crimes against us and other good people.They have nearly destroyed this family. I get passed from person to person when I call customer service. I had one kind young lady this morning who wished me well in resolving this issue....as if she knew what I was in for when being transferred to another customer service rep. They are stealing money from us. With this underhanded practice of theirs they added over 1,000 dollars in their *fees* without ever honoring our request to send paper bills or to close this account after saying it was closed. Unbelievable to me that this can happen...and is there no recourse for those of us who have been stolen from? What can we do about this? We have to pay them another 50 dollars. It's adding up and adding up....it is as if we can not get this monster off our backs!
