We had 7 quotes for a new salt water pool.  I had 2 meetings with Pat Pitts from Advanced Watershapes to review his quote & 1 other pool builder. We wanted to make sure that with the last 2 pool builders we were getting the samething - apples too apples.  Our last meeting with Pat (In their office was too choose between a salt or Ion system).  We choose the salt system but Pat Pitts checked off the chorline tablet system on the contract. Once we found the error in the contract then Advanced Watershapes owner Jphn Weztel & staff became very threating - sending emails, letters & a phone call threating too has us both killed. They have even slandered us on web sites. I paid over 50K for a pool smaller than a 1 car garage & now because their life time warranty is only good untill they have all their money I now have to have another contractor repair all of the stone around the pool, the solar system panels & install a salt system.  Our lawyer says small claims court but they have a $ limit less than the needed fixes.  When I talked to the newpaper about the 1/2 page ad every week they said contact the BBB.  When I call the building permit office they said file a complant but good luck.  In Florida the consumer has is left holding the bag & the contractor just walks away with your money & leaving a mess behind behind.

 

NEVER do business with Advanced Watershapes - Pat Pitts or John Weztel Jr.

Worst pool builder & people we have ever met.  For the first time in our lives I now keep a loaded gun in the house due too their threats.
