On June 13, 2009 I had the horrifying experience of riding in one of the cars operated by America's Best Limousines d/b/a AA Best in Fairfield, NJ. I would recommend that people look elsewhere to for limousine services.
The vehicle that picked up my nephews, ages 5 and 8, my brother and me at the Marriott located on Route 17 in Mahwah was driven by an individual who identified himself as "Eddie." "Eddie" proceeded to drive onto Route 17 to take us to Ramsey. As we entered the highway I noticed that the vehicle began to veer into other lanes and then back to its original lane causing other motorists to swerve to avoid an accident. I noticed that "Eddie" was not watching the road and instead was looking down. When I mentioned this to him, Eddie responded that it was "the GPS' fault". The car then hit something causing the back door to open while the car was still being driven on the highway. I quickly grabbed my 5 year old nephew to stop him from falling out and closed the door with my other hand. The trunk then opened blocking the driver's rear view and caused Eddie to finally pull over.
When I called to complain, Louis Cinque, owner of America's Best Limousines, responded that "mistakes happen we all make mistakes." It scares me that a company is operating a limousine service with such a cavalier attitude towards the safety of its passengers and the other motorists on the road.
REBUTTAL: From Louis Cinque, President of America's Best Limousines 7/24/09
We would like to rebuddle the statement that they posted regarding what happened, is incorrect. It was a Rolls Royce which when driving is not like a normal car. It is a little stiffer with turning and the driver they had, drives it all the time. The Rolls Royces are sound cars and no doors or trucks fly open. We were running late to the bride because the groom had us take him to the church which was not in the instructions. We offered to refund the full price of the Rolls Royce, however, the bride was demanding half of the whole wedding price. After we had offered the refund of the Rolls Royce, we have not heard back from them at all. We take care of any problems that do arise, and have a perfect record with the better business bureau.
