Empire Beauty School

What an expensive joke Empire Beauty School of Concord NC is. The people are super great when you are looking and make the school out to be the best. They walk you around and tayou into the classes and everyone greets you with enthusim. FAKE!! I learned as I sat in the classroom on the other side. All of us students are sitting there trying to send sublimental messages to them "don't do it" It's really a very sad thing. They use a curiculum thats a joke. Most every chapter has something incorrect but we have to learn it that way in order to pass our test. They give us the answers to every test so we can pass because it makes them look good with the pass rate but what happens @ state board? Fail! I can perm hair but know nothing about the structure of the hair. Not kidding! Teachers come and go almost every other week. At one point we had over thirty students in our class with one teacher and we had to use two rooms to fit all of us. The teacher would go back and fourth each room. At least once a week for about an hour of class we were intertained by some of the students listening to loud music and shaking thier flabby big A$$$ to see who shakes the best. Not joking. We never had enough product because the staff didnt understand the ordering process, per the director. We never had cleaning supply so we would use the same towels cleaning bathrooms and everything else as we did on clients. (I always brought my own if I were having a personal service) Most of them had at least one hairball hanging off of it. Some of the students would take a one to two hour break when school was only four hours long as a part time student. Some would get up and go smoke just because they were bored with what was being taught. The bathroom are gross! I just can't believe they are still open and doing bussiness. Sad they get away with doing this. I dropped after 6 months and of course and A to go to another school. I will lose all of my hours (about 350) because I really didn't learn anything while there. Plus about 5 grand. Its a shame and if I could make it happen I would have the school shut down.
