I worked for Steven Goff, of woodgifts.net, here in Rhode Island. He closed this location and continues to operate out of the state of Florida. The last pay-check he gave me (covering two weeks back pay) bounced. After numerous attempts to collect the money owed to me for my labour, he only response is "Not a good thing, Sorry about that and I'm broke". Well, my kids and granddaughter say "Thanks for Christmas" My mortgage company said "Your problem"
My Bank says you have to pay these fees.
This is now March, no effort what-so-ever has been made by Steve Goff to pay me, he does not return phone calls or e-mails. Considering working for him ?? Think hard about that one. Thinking about buying wood wine bottle boxes from "woodgifts.net" ?? If you want to deal with a person who writes bad pay-roll checks to his employees. That's your decision. Advice: Get a Certified check if there is any sort of refund due from him.
