I purchased an extended warranty from Bargers Allsports for my 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100 motorcycle at the suggestion of the salesman" you don't have to worry about anything going wrong for 5 years". Boy was I stupid. When I took my motorcycle in for an obvious warranty repair I was told that the warranty was voided because there was water and rust inside of the drive line cover. You might ask"what is water doing inside of a cover put on the bike to protect the drive line?". Well that is a good question. When I asked that ,they never really answered. Bargers said that Honda was the one that refused the warranty repairs and that they had sent pictures to Honda. Then I called Honda and they said that they had not received any pictures. They based there decision on what they were told by the service manager at Bargers Allsports.
Well it should be obvious that neither party is good at telling the truth, because someone is responsible for not acccepting the warranty. This so called warranty cost me $700 by the way and I was also charged $175 by the dealer to tell me that the bike was not covered.
When I asked for a review I was told there was nothing they could do. How convenient is that?
All I want is the bike fixed or a return of my money. That shouldn't be that big a deal since they both made money on the sale of the bike. Well I have contacted everyone that I can think of and there has been no attempt to rectify the situation. My only thought is if you deal with millionaires you have to expect for them to screw there customer for $1500. That is what they did. |
