In January of 2007, I enrolled my two children into Mundelein Montessori School located in Mundelein, IL. At first I was pleased with the promises of a great education. I begin to notice little things like my son wearing the wrong shoes, disorganization, turnover, and a general discord in the atmosphere. The location is dirty and unkept. I did mention the cleanliness as a concern when I enrolled, however, the Director assured me that it was because they were painting. As time went on I begin to notice a general disregard for the education, care and well being of my two boys and the overall management of the organization. After having conversations with the Director, I realized it was the lack care and integrity of the leadership and removed my children. I would not recommend your placing a pet with this organization as they are careless, disorganized, dirty, have a general disregard for the well being of children, and they have no standards. This organization hides behind the name Montessori as an excuse to play all day and not manage the children. They are not in it for children!! |
