I have a daughter with special needs and we decided to make her 10th birthday extra special with a limo party for her and 6 of her friends. We called Fox Charter or Limo two weeks ahead of time to book the reservation. They took down all the information and my credit card number. Two days before I called to confirm and go over the times and details and the phone was answered as if in someone's home. When I asked for Fox Limo the woman sounded confused and then said "oh they must have forwarded the phone to my house and didn't tell me". I should have been alerted right then. After spending about 20 minutes going over all the details, plus the rate she assured me all was good and the driver would get there about 10 minutes early. I hung up without a care. They were supposed to arrive by 10am. At 9:35 I recieved a call from a woman (caller ID showed a private home number, different from the day before and a different woman) who simply said "I am the person who booked your reservation and I need to cancel your ride". No apology, no concern, nothing. I was stunned and panicked and asked what happened, and she just said "i need to cancel your ride", further questioning she said the car had broken down. I asked her what was wrong and she said "I don't know I'm not a mechanic". I asked where the car was and she said in front of her building. I asked if she was at the building and she said yes. I then asked her why the phone she called from listed a home name and number and she didn't know what to say. Just clarification that these people lie. I was devastated. I didn't know how to tell my daughter her limo would not be there. Something she had waited for for 2 weeks and was telling all of her friends and family about. I asked to talk to the manager or anyone and no one was available. I asked for a different, even smaller car, and they had nothing. They had NO solution and couldn't have cared less about our situation. It was a terrible experience and I'll never forget it. Please don't use this company. They are liars and should not be in business. They are not members of the BBB and have an unsatisfactory rating on everything from service, to reliability to equipment. I've left messages for the CEO on the phone and the email. No reply of course! |
