My husband and I signed a contract with the above individual, listed on Penny saver, on 05/31/07 for a complete renovation of our under ground pool. The job was quoted and we gave a good chunk of money for deposit. The contractor promised to start the work on Monday June 4th of 2007. He never showed up to start the job on 06/04 and since then has worked a total of 3 to 4 days. To the present time he has not completed the job. I contacted AM Pools several times over the phone and went over in person to talk to the owners. They both were very evasive in answering me about when the work is to be completed.
When we signed the contract I specifically told the company owners that the pool had to be ready for the last week of June or the first week of July, the latest. It is already the end of July and the summer season is almost over.
I find AM Pools to be very unprofessional in the way they run their business. Their service is the worst. I have to call them and the majority of the time they do not return their phone calls.
Unfortunately, I had to take action and reported AM Pools with Consummer Affairs and Better Business Beaureu .
