I have been with Geico for 1 year now.  My payments were low as advertised comercially  by the friendly animated lizard, however, after an incident during the end of my policy, wherein my car was reported stolen, I filed a claim with Geico (this is why we  have insurance right)? After my vehicle was recovered- referring to my comprehensive plan, I was obligated to pay a $500.00 deductible and thereafter Geico covered minor damages totaling $300.00. After my plan expired I requested to renew and was denied since they have "rights" to do whatever they want with customers now a days.   I was told by a manager that the company is in business to make money and I am a risk for them.  After questioning how, they replied they entered my information to renew my policy and refering to the statistics, because of my claim for auto theft my score has declined and they will not risk to have me as a policy holder since they paid more money out to me than they anticipated.  So what did this mean?  If I pay them monthly and nothing happens to me I am a valued customer and the company pockets my monthly payments but if the tragedy strikes on my behalf, I am a risk to them because they have to pay money back to me. What a selfish reason to deny me and put me on the street to find a new insurance provider.  Watch out-In order to be a GEICO customer, you have to be lucky nothing happens or the plan bites back.
