I have worked for Studio 6 for a while now, it was a great job when I first started and now it has gone down hill all because of the way my boss thinks she can treat her employees. She has tried to get us to sell rooms that do not have airconditioners, she told us "oh just give the guest twenty dollars off they'll be happy. IN the middle of summer with the way tempatures are down here there is no way someone wants to stay in a hotel room with no air and no windows to open. On July 4th she decided to take the day off on our busiest day, anyway we ran out of toilet paper and guests were getting upset so we called her to see what we should do and the only answer we received was "I dont know its not my problem its your figure it out." She has told us that if anyone from our main office called to see if she were in to tell them that she was at work just not in the office though, when she was really at home. Anytime we have a question she gives us attitude. Our housekeeping keys seem to stop working after she leaves and calls us liars about them not working. My mother-in-law watches my child while I am work and she had to go out of town for a day so I needed the day off so my boss told me it wasnt her problem that I didnt have a babysitter and that I HAD to be at work because she had plans already and was not going to cover for me. Basically told me I would lose my job if I could not find a baby sitter. We only have on air condition in our front office, as for the break room, and laundry room there is none. She made sure to get one in her office though. There is a room that was busted for a meth lab last month, the police told her that she needed to call Biohazard to clean it. She has never called them, says she doesnt want to spend the money to have it cleaned. She has promised housekeepers a raise for the last three years and they have never gotten it. They have been there for 10 plus years and still make the same amount. She has fired an operations manager then made uneligable to recieve unemployment because she told them she quit. It just goes on and on. The matresses have never been changed the whole time the hotel has been open. There are bloody matresses, she keeps using a conforter that is stained with blood in one of the rooms. She has the front desk people tell a guest that have to be evicted, when she is supposed to do it. I cant even think straight when I try to explain what she has done. |
