So like I said previously, My husband and I have been Banking with Sky Bank for over 10 years. So when they switched to Huntington we decided since all of our bills and things were attached to this account it would be easier to try out the new bank. But what they didn't tell you is that there deposit process is very slow. So we assumed it was basically the same as Sky cause why would there system be that different I mean its still a Bank just a different name. So I guess our new bank considered Monday a holiday when veterans was clearly on a sunday. Last time I checked computers don't know holidays. So on Tuesday our account still had 500 and some odd dollars. When we checked the account on Wednesday it said we have 16 dollars and 7 nsf fees! Which my paycheck was suppose to be deposited on Monday and we had another check that was to be deposited on Wednesday. So Tuesday night they took out all these fees for a check that was 500 dollars that still is not even showing on my account. So we called Wednesday morning and the customer service rep was being very rude and had alot of attitude. She said that the 500 check was still being processed thats why its not showing, well if its still in the process why did it already come out of our account then? And why aren't our 2 deposits not even in there yet? And she stated that they went in this morning at 7 a.m. but it was to late because the check came out on tuesday night at midnight and the deposits were not there yet. So basically the bank took out the check "which is still being processed" and because they considered Monday a holiday my deposits were pushed back until Wednesday! Why wouldn't they of been processed on Tuesday? She said it isn't my fault thats how are system works. So people beware if you have a deposit expect it to not go in for 3 days because you know when you use a debit card it goes right away but a deposit takes forever for some reason. Basically this is the way they make money off of us. We have never bounced anything this whole time with Sky but when Huntington took over look what happened. I thought they were suppose to be for the people. Thats a joke. |
