I  was illegally charged $2000.00 by Abandoned Auto Alliance - St. Louis, MO.   I was parked in a vacate parking lot for 1 1/2 hours and went to get something to eat, when I came back to get my truck, Abandoned Auto Alliance Inc had my truck  hooked up to the tow truck, at that time I ask them to just let me leave and they would not until I paid them $2000.00.  I  then ask to call the police they inform me I if did that they would tow my truck and it would cost me up to $2800.00 or more. My truck was not ababdoned and they were other cars park on the lot, because they could more money out of semi trucks they were going to tow me. they did not tow the cars.

Note to writer of this article from BusinessReporter:  You can take the towing company to small claims court and sue them for $2,000 plus court costs.  You have up to one year from the date you were charge to file suit.
