DC Centre has some great potential as it does have a nice facility, wonderful students, and some decent staff but unfortunately the management will always hold this place back. Specifically, a manager named Nick. I found the level of focus on money rather than the students disturbing and his public temper dramatizations completely unprofessional and disruptive to the environment. I observed first hand how he is purposely deceptive in the name of the almighty dollar and will have his staff do the same. He is not a good, nor honest person and I have watched while he tainted his staff accordingly, because he holds their livelyhood in his hands. Additionally, he has demonstrated racial discrimination and stereotyping that has turned my stomach. It really is quite sad how one bad apple can ruin a bunch, yet it speaks volumes about the establishments core. I would not recommend this dance studio to anyone. There is a great dance studio community in Omaha run by good, honest people. DC Centre is not one. In fact upon getting to know the dance community, I found that what I am saying is no secret. Many good staff and students have left DC Centre because of same reasons I list for you today. If you are interested in learning or teaching dance go to a studio in which they teach dance because they enjoy teaching and helping others learn dance. There are good honest dance studios that are not going to lie and deceive in the name of money, just DC Centre is not one on that list. |
