This is the 2nd RUSH job I have done for Neil Schuster of Lake Weir Living Property developement. He is very demanding and always on the phone with you when it is in his interest, but when the call has to do with YOUR business and getting paid it is ignored.
I did a interior decorating job preparing his new office for opening day with only a week to do it in. Conveinently he had to be out of town for the week of decorating and told me to purchase things and he would pay me when he returned on Friday.
I did the job plus incidental things such as waiting and watching the installers he had hired for another job. Not part of my job but I was trying to help out. When it came time to collect on the personal money I had spent to pay for materials to do the job seems his computer and phone were not the way to contact him as he ignored all emails and calls, even turning off his phone. I waited a week for him to return calls or emails to no avail. I went to his office personally to pick up payment after receiving a call from his secretary to come in and she would take care of it Monday morning 8/24/09 and would I please help her redo some of the work as they had a flood and things were in need of ironing and replacement. I told her no problem I would help her.
Then when I arrive once again they are conveinently off to some appointment and would I rehang and iron the drapes. Needless to say, when no check was prepared for me, my thoughts of helping them AGAIN went out the window. So I waited at the office for them to return and to pay me and then ended up having the partner, his brother Steve Schuster, screaming at me and threatening me. The secretary decided to give me a talking to that she would never use me again nor should I expect any referrals. (Hell I just want to be paid for a job already done!)
I would never work for Neil Schuster or any of his many companies for a million dollars. Finally after waiting all day, he shows up with a check. Starter check and makes it out so that he thought it would be hard for me to cash. The last name should be Schister. Makes a lot of promises and never completes them and admits he is unorganized which is why he is always going in too many directions at once to actually finish anything. Get everything in writing with this company. Don't go on someones word, it's not worth the breath it was spoken with. |
