After developing a swelling in my jaw due to an abcess, I went to walk in services at Memorial Health Center (a non profit center) for antibiotics until I could get in to a dentist. I explained I was uninsured and unemployed so couldn't afford a high bill. I was denied less expensive walk in services and taken to ER and given IV treatment that I was not informed  what it was for or the side effects, given perscriptions for drugs that caused me to vomit and my stomach to compleatly shed the lining repeatedly and developed a pain in my throat upon swollowing due to the drugs within a day. The next day I was given IV drugs to prevent nausea used for patients taking Chemotherapy for nausea and vomiting. I was unable to eat due to vomiting and because of this I had to delay taking care of my tooth abscess for months. The hospital sued for $1,442.97. I would like to join a class action suit if one is available. I have 10 days to file for a retrial if I can find a pro bono lawyer. I do have a Doctor to testify on procedure errors.
