I filled out an application online for a loan of $5,000. I was contacted by email, and then by phone by Walter Bowman, that I was approved. I was told due to my credit I would have to put down collateral. I checked the business out first and no complaints were listed with the BBB or any searches I performed. I pressumed them to be ligit, with all the official doc's I was sent to sign. I was promised funds would be transfered to my account within 3 hours of my wired collateral. I never received the funds. I called the next morning and was told by Scott Williams, that on second review (which it stated this in the agreement so I thought it was accurate) the lender requires additional collateral due to my credit. I asked what would keep them from continuing to promise the funds, the keep requesting collateral. I was told by law the lender could not request additional colateral after second review,(I have a verification letter stating this) and that once this additional collateral was received, funds would be deposited into my account within 3 hours. This didn't happen, I called to confirm my checking account info, they said to call back. I kept getting a recording. This morning when I called they said I gave them the wrong account info, which is a lie, and that the funds were deposited into the wrong account, another lie. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told first to call back, then that the CEO's were out for 3 weeks. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor, anyone above him, and he got nasty with me and said he understands my frustration, but that this was MY fault. I said this was not my fault, and how do you speak to your clients this way, I'm a customer. He said just because you're a customer doesn't mean you get your own way and that now I'm no longer approved for my loan and they're issuing a refund, which I now know I'll never see. He said refunds take 30-45 days, which is rediculous because it took minutes for them to get their money. I have contacted an attorney, and the Boston Police Department to file a report. I plan to prosicute them to the fullest extent of the law. If there is anything you need from me, please do not hesitate to call or email me. I have the verification letters of promise to loan-stating everything I have mentioned here in writing, and all signed doc's so just let me know what you need from me. Thanks. |
