I answered an ad that came in my e-mail to process rebates from my home computer. The name of the company is Penbrook Productions, Irvine, CA. (I have since contacted the police in Irvine and found that there is no Penbrook Productions at the address listed in the ad and from what the police can find out may be operating out of the US). I paid the $197 requested to be able to download the instruction manual and start working and earning right away. The manual would not down load and when I finally contacted "customer care" I spoke to a girl whose accent was so pronounced that I had to have her spell what she was saying-WealthDIC-which turned out to be another worthless website. While I was trying to contact Penbrook, I was called at work by Tafiti Consulting who convinced me and my $3500. that they could have me up and running in an Internet business in 30 days or before my first credit card payment was due. I thought that Penbrook and Tafiti were connected. They are alright, but not in the way I thought. I now know that Tafiti is some kind of a drop shipping company with the shoddiest merchandise going. Nothing I want to be associated with. Please do not answer any ads for Penbrook Productions, Angela Penbrook Productions, Tafiti Consulting, Media LLC, Angel Stevens, WealthDIC, or at home processing. These people are all connected and are all out to "fleece" everyone. I hope somehow their little monopoly on scams can be broken up and some people can get their money back. |
