Scooter

I purchased a heavy duty scooter for my mom in Canada. The Easy Mobility Company recommended a specific scooter to purchase. I purchased the scooter in May 2008 and had it shipped to Canada. On september 5, I called them about a problem that my mother was having. After calling repeatedly and threatening to call the BBB they finally returned my call. They did send someone out to look at the scooter and said my mom was too fat and going too far and that was the problem. The scooter has a 25 mile range, she goes about 8 miles at a time. The scooter is rated at 450 lbs., she weighs about 210. We finally got them to agree to have another business look at the scooter. They found it was the batteries and now the Easy Mobility Company says that ir's been 9 months and they can't do anything about the batteries. We told them it has not ben 9 months but was less than 3 months since we unpacked the scooteer and the first problem. They do not return phone calls and they do not respond to e-mails. it has been more than 2 weeks since I e-mailed that it was the batteries and they have not called or e-mailed.
