I got a letter from my mortgage company saying I no longer carried homeowners insurance. I called Kelly Johnson to find out the scoop on the year policy I purchased. They couldn't even find my information for two days. Once they found the information, they called me and said my policy was through another company in which went out of business. I called to get a new policy to avoid not having insurance and having my home foreclosed or be forced to purchase high cost insurance from the mortgage company. I needed insurance that day and made it very clear. I had an appointment for 4:00 pm with an agent to make payment and sign papers. I purchased a money order and took off work early to sign my paperwork. When I got there a girl in the front office said rudely, the agent I was working with left and they couldn't write policies after 4:00. They went out of there way to make sure I didn't get the coverage promised. They must of had better things to do than to help a customer avoid foreclosure. They told me Farmers don't accept policies after 4:00. They lost my policy, failed to help me and made an appointment they couldn't keep. I left the store and went two blocks to another Farmers agent who was happy to stay late and said Farmers had no such thing as not being able to write a policy after 4:00. I want everyone in the world to see what I had to deal with in trying to get coverage from Kelly Johnson, I bought a policy and they couldn't even find it. The agent told me I wasn't even a customer. |
