If you buy a motor from wholesale engines/prime performance in Goose Creek, SC (Eric Mead) BEWARE Do yourself a favor and recheck everything in the motor!!! i.e. torque specs, matching rods and caps (#'s) and make sure there in there proper cylinder. Don't forget the camshaft sprocket retaining bolt. He doesn't install one before shipping? I bought a motor from Eric mead and it was a mess (Literally ran for 15 sec's before catastrophic failure).I have 7 different emails from his customers that had similar problems with there motors and they said that they all left feed back before installing the engine. Thank God for Papal, I did get a refund but it very time consuming getting another properly built motor. I can't stop this guy from selling this junk on eBay, but I can inform customers that have bought engines from him and advise them what to look for. Note: Eric Mead's (Wholesale engines is not a machine shop, he build's these motors in his garage in Goose Creek, SC, Yet he states that they come out of Dallas TX??? Eric claims to sell 2800 motors a month. You can look up his business profile @ www.manta.com and you will see that he is in no way doing that kind of business. Hope all works well for you, Good luck.
